I am writing an essay about the history of Mississippi and how it made it the state it is today, what happened, and what has changed over the years. The different little things about people, government, events, activists, writers and cultural changes. The three main things I will talk about in this article will be the music, slavery and the lifestyle they lead. First Corps As we all know Mississippi has always been known as the home of the blues, from which come many talented people who could make the blues something magical. I mean, from BB King to Robert Johnson to Muddy Waters, these will be some of the people who made the blues so famous and a true memory for Everything to Hear. Most of these artists recorded in the 20th century, but by the time the 1950s rolled around they had been largely forgotten outside of Mississippi, the greatest music gone and now that's all you primarily hear when you turn on the Raido is garbage. There are so many young people who don't know that if it wasn't for people like BB King and Aretha Franklin our music wouldn't be as great and wouldn't be worth listening to.
