Michelle Obama consistently provides statistics and reports on African Americans with a high school education. For example, Obama states, "One in three African American students drops out of high school. Only one in five African Americans between twenty-five and twenty-nine have earned a college degree" (291). This statistic contains clarity and strength. Obama, however, does not specify the number of inhabitants of the United States and among them how many African Americans are in the world. Another statistic stated by Obama is that “people who earn a bachelor's degree or higher earn nearly three times more than high school dropouts, and are much less likely to be unemployed” (291). These provide good information on all aspects of statistical investigation. The only thing I'm curious about is where Obama got his information from since he doesn't reference it
