1. Introduction. Modern technologies for children: useful or harmful? Living in the 21st century, of course, we encounter a huge flow of information every day. This information finds us everywhere, from TV, to computers, on the subway, on the streets and in shops. There is only one way to avoid this flow: to live far from civilization. Modern technologies can be useful and harmful at the same time. There are many aspects and opinions on this question. I will try to analyze both harmful and useful aspects of the influence of modern technology on the development of the child. Let's try to look at this question from different sides, trying to be objective. Everyone knows that our life is impossible without the Internet, cell phones and TV. The development of progress undoubtedly influences the development of children, because this is the most out-of-the-limb category of the population.2. Influence of modern technologies on children's health. First of all, modern devices such as smartphones, computers and TVs have a huge influence on children's health. This influence is negative if parents do not monitor the time children spend in front of devices. The eyes are the first to suffer, when looking at the device display the eyes blink more rarely than usual, this can lead to excessive dryness of the conjunctiva and inevitably to various eye disorders. In light of the above, it is very important for parents to monitor the time their children spend with devices.3. Is the Internet harmful or useful for children? The Internet can be more than useful. Help children with their studies; it is very easy to find information with the help of the Internet. There is no... paper medium... for parents that can filter websites with unwanted content. This step defends your child from swearing, porn ads, sectarians and many other unacceptable information.4. Ask your child not to talk to strangers on social media and cell phones.
