I played several sports throughout high school. I was on the Varsity hockey team my freshman and sophomore years. I was a member of the Varsity football team for three years. I also played baseball all 4 years here at Central, three years during Varsity competition. This winter I decided to join the power lifting team at Central and I really enjoyed it. I learned so much about the importance of staying fit and the effect it has on everything you do. I worked at Nell's Catering for a year as a waiter and currently work at Lackore Electric. My tasks there are pretty much everything that needs to be done. I only work a few hours a week during the school year due to school commitments, but I will be working full time this summer. I do data entry, shipping and receiving work, and inventory management. I am also the resident maintenance and lawn care worker. As a member of the Health Science Academy, a school program for students interested in careers in the health field, I have volunteered at numerous local events. These events included the La Crosse Fitness Festival Half Marathon, Stepping out in Pink, YMCA Turkey Trot, and most recently, the grand opening of the Gundersen Health Systems Legacy
