In society, Bisphenol A is also known as BPA, it is important and relevant in some areas such as in automobiles and medical equipment and is not that important for the human body. BPA is mostly linked to metal cans. The purpose of this article is to discuss the molecular process, real-world applications, and advantages and disadvantages of Bisphenol A. Bisphenol A has a deep connection to the can manufacturing industry, the NACAR business, and the history of bisphenol A. Bisphenol A is a chemical element that is mainly used to produce polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins. Polycarbonate plastic is a lightweight plastic, it is a high-performance plastic, which possesses a balance of toughness, stability, optical clarity, high heat resistance and excellent electrical resistance. Due to these capabilities, polycarbonate is used in a wide variety of common products, such as CDs and DVDs. An epoxy resin begins with the reaction of two compounds, bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. Epoxy is a thermosetting epoxy polymer that cures when mixed with a catalyzing agent that gives the can hardness. This means that when you make polymers, when you mix these two chemicals together you get a hardness that is produced and put into jars to give them their hardness. According to Dr. Castan of Greenlee (1936), the demand for epoxy resin is based on extensive materials that include coatings, adhesives, and complex materials such as those using carbon fiber and glass fiber reinforcements. (Greenlee and Castan, paragraph 2). Epoxy resin is also a hard substance created when two substances, an epoxy resin and a polyamine, are combined. In most cases the two chemicals are epichlorohydrin and bisphenol A. Bisphenol A has been invested...... middle of paper ......ic without estrogen steroid diethylstilbestrol (DES) during their pregnancies between 1948 and 1971 and had 2.5 times the normal incidence of breast cancer. In general, my topic is bisphenol A and it has a multi-step molecular process that allows for many real world implications, such as cancer, overweight. Furthermore, the molecular process of bisphenol A involves a difficult molecular process that allowed the polymers to be wetted and allowed to cool and thus to produce the diepoxy polymers. And tying it together with an electron at each end. This disadvantage does not help the human body because it makes the body weak and it is not possible to treat these health problems. In our society, bisphenol A could offer a solution to the problem of the human body and reduce health problems. And also many people can start making healthy choices in life instead of eating canned food, try fresh food instead.
