Humans are unique in many ways, having the ability to learn and hone various skills and activities. One of the amazing characteristics of human beings is the degree of creativity and innovation displayed through our thoughts and actions. Since the last century, over a million books, literature, music, sculptures and paintings have been published every year. As time has passed, not only have human activities evolved, but our definition of art has also changed enormously. Generally, the term art is referred to as skill or mastery. Some say that art is the work produced by dexterity and imagination, while others elaborate further by saying that it is an application of creativity typically presented in a visual form. Artistic work has been around almost as long as humanity, from prehistoric art to modern art. While one artist depicted mountains with sharp peaks, others depicted them with sinuous hills. Likewise, no two writers have the same writing style or order of syntax. Many people describe art in different ways; it is up to the public to evaluate the work of art. What we now define as art oversaw the inner meaning of an artist's work. Art is not just the product of dexterity and creativity; it is a symbolic meaning of one's senses, emotions and intellect. Art is created when an artist psychologically connects his work to the audience, whether through music, writing, painting, or any other form. Art is music, as the artist writes his thoughts as lyrics, connecting his emotions to his audience. . Through his music, an artist is able to emit and convey his previous feelings to the listener. As an audience, we are impressed by the song and conclude that it is good music. Through rock music, the artist can express his frustration... in the middle of paper... his work is a piece of craftsmanship rather than art. Therefore, the deeper meaning of the art is lost when words like “skill” or “dexterity” are used. It is important to define art through the emotional connection between the artist and his audience to holistically consider art as a meaningful word. Art is about communicating ideas, for example in political, spiritual or philosophical fields, and creating a sense of beauty to explore the nature of perception and generate strong emotions. Through literature, music, and other artifacts, artists are able to emotionally connect their work to audiences. When the public sees a work of art, they are affected both emotionally and mentally. Art should not be defined simply as a product of skill and creativity because we lose the true purpose of the word, which is to symbolically represent and share one's senses, emotions and intelligence..
