Did you know that being famous can be good or bad? Even though it has been proven countless times that being famous can be dangerous, people still aspire to be famous. This article will tell you about the ups and downs of famous people, as well as the financial hardships and tribulations of being famous. What is the cost of a celebrity's time and privacy? “Celebrities chose to be advertised. I say some celebrities even purposely tell paparazzi where they are so they can be photographed. Furthermore, paparazzi have the right to freedom of the press. Paparazzi cannot break any laws such as entering the property without permission. They can do whatever they want as long as they respect the laws” (Debate). Celebrities have that right, just like any other person. However, the fact is that politicians and public figures themselves try to make themselves known to the public. Whether they aim to be talked about or in the spotlight, celebrities strive to be stars, to be heard and to be recognized. But in the end those actors, celebrities and politicians are human beings too. They need their privacy and have a right to it, just like any other person. What's the harm in being famous? “Obviously there's nothing wrong with being famous. But it doesn't protect you either” (Liam). Many celebrities or otherwise well-known people have been implicated in the misinformation. It might seem like a dream to become famous and have the world at your fingertips. However, when a person is famous, they are recognized practically everywhere they go, which means they have no privacy.
