FEELINGS Decision-making processes can be satisfied based on two sets of criteria: thinking and feeling. My preference, Feeling, describes me as an individual who makes decisions based on a specific case that are biased towards what is believed to be true within my assessment. Another unique trait that I prefer is that I tend to follow my heart, empathize with others, and let my emotions guide my decisions. Making decisions with the Feeling preference can include wanting to buy something because I like it or turning down a job because I don't like the work environment too much. Kroeger et al. (2002) state that, as leaders, Feelers tend to “exercise power through relationships and attention to subjective human values”.”
