My business plan is to draw, paint, take photos and design illustrations for musicians' album covers. My main target audience is musicians who are starting out in the music industry and need ideas or musicians who need a design for a new logo or album cover. There are bands and many solo artists creating music every day, so the possibility of running out of customers should be rare. Because of the audience, music is more about marketing than the artwork and becomes more important as it is the first thing the customer will see. Since the artwork is important, it must be similar to the music, for example, if the music was "hippy-like", the cover would be full of bright colors. But if it was influenced by heavy metal, then it would have dark based colors. Considering the different musical styles, I also have to think about the different age groups, especially when advertising. To attract customers I will add a consultation page, which allows my customers to come into the store, or to discuss via email if they have a busy schedule, with their band/manager or even just with a solo artist, to discuss what genre, what the song names are and what design they wanted on their album cover. Many musically talented bands have many ideas but are unable to put them into images, so if they were to give me a few words, a photo of themselves or even the names of songs from their album, I hope to be able to create what they want. Also, to make sure they are happy with the drawings, I will then give a portfolio of drawings, photos and several lettering drawings that could be in the album if needed, and they can agree on a drawing before it is produced at a later date. on a large scale. To compete with other retailers, artists and dealers, I will ensure that all of my artwork is unique from other artists by ensuring that it is different from other artwork already on the market. In some circumstances, I may promote my artwork informally over lunch rather than in a formal meeting. This may depend on who the buyer is. I will advertise on the most popular social networks, advertisements on television and in various radio stations. Even on a poster advertised in recording studios, colleges, universities, theaters and even schools. Even just advertising in newspapers and music magazines would attract public interest.
