HELLIntroductionHell is easily said by many people, people who have no idea what they are talking about or if Hell really exists use the word every day. The phrases “Go to hell,” “Get out of here,” and “Hell yes” are used in everyday conversations. In fact, hell is becoming such a common word that almost everyone, even Christians, doesn't even consider it a dirty word. Hell has lost much of the threat that Christ spoke of throughout the New Testament. The general population seems to think of Hell as the ultimate party: cold beer, loose girls, bum fights, and drugs; a spiritual Las Vegas or Thailand. A place full of sin with no one in control and absolutely no consequences for anyone's actions. This thinking, this inaccurate illusion of Hell is unfortunately plaguing much of the world, not just America. As many pastors have precluded in the past, Hell is real, it is hot, and Hell is in no way fun. Through biblical research you will discover that Hell is a place that exists, it is a place of absolute misery and the presence of God is not there. The goal of the following document is to define Hell, prove the existence of Hell, show what you will experience in Hell, and explain how to choose where to spend eternity. Hell, Hell Defined is defined as many different things by many different people. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines Hell as follows:1 a (1): an underworld in which the dead continue to exist: Hades (2): the lower realm of the devil and demons in which the damned suffer eternal punishment – often used in curses or as a generalized term of abuse. b Christian Science: error 2b, sin; 2 a: a place or state of misery, torment, or... middle of paper... city teachers make fun of it, but it's not funny. Philosophers explain it, but it's still not funny. Hell is no joke." It can't be said enough times: hell is real, hell is hot, and hell is no fun! Bibliography Barnes, Albert.
