After the witch's threats, the Scarecrow and the Tin Man vow to stay with Dorothy. This is when Dorothy feels some familiarity with the Tin Man and the Scarecrow. They are not afraid of the hatch witch. They continue walking, with the noise of the forest in the background, but Dorothy is afraid of encountering wild animals in the forest. Suddenly a lion appears, loud and acting ferocious; he wants to fight them all. They are initially afraid, but Dorothy hits the lion and punishes him; the lion begins to cry and thinks his nose is bleeding. Dorothy calls him a big coward, he agrees and says he scares himself too. They suggest that the Wizard of Oz could give courage to the lion. It is called a dandelion. They head to the wizard to get a heart, a house, a brain and a cover. The Wicked Witch of the West is behind the scene and creates a poison and places it into the beautiful landscape of miles and miles of flowers. This is an area that Dorothy must travel through to reach the Emerald City. Dorothy and her companions can now see the Emerald City in the distance. They began walking through the colorful flowers towards the Emerald City and could see the yellow brick road again. Dorothy suddenly becomes dizzy and sleepy, she, her mentors and her allies offer to drag her alone, but Dorothy, Toto and the lion fall asleep. The Tin Man and the Scarecrow want to take Dorothy with them when they realize it
