Drug DealerStreet Drug Distributor“Yes, I knew of police officers selling drugs,” Cain says in response to the question. “They are worse than me because they should respect the law!” There are many types of drug dealers, from Caucasian white collar and government criminals behind the scenes, to the overexposed black thug on the street corner. In his early twenties, corn-bun braided male, who I'll call Cain, was at ease as we sat in his newly purchased home. Regardless of what most people think, most drug dealers work. Lower level drug dealers, that is. Cain explained that selling drugs wasn't something he wanted to do, but a lack of need and opportunity led him down that path. “The influence of television and poor driving” didn't help him either, he added. “Do you know any professional drug dealers and do you intend to become one?”; he nodded and said yes to both questions. After confirming that he doesn't know anyone who has been dealing for at least five years and has never been incarcerated, I asked him if he thinks it will be an exception. "No, but I'm not interested in the future, for now." Normally I would have thought this was ridiculous, but understanding the mindset of a mentally dead individual, I understood it all too well. Cain admitted that he is remorseful for the destruction caused by drugs, but that he also believes his drug dealing is necessary for the time being. "Do you often deal with violent or aggressive people?" I asked. “Sometimes, but once respect is established for you, it's usually not necessary,” he replied. He explained that he knew of at least seven people who had lost their lives in a drug-related incident, but even more who were incarcerated. “Does the U.S. government have a role in drug distribution?” "Of course! I may have purchased drugs from government officials, you never know who you're actually dealing with, but I know drug dealers who buy their drugs from the feds. "Who do you think are the main drug dealers?" "The State Government United and the CIA" We briefly discussed the recent discovery of the CIA dealing drugs in South Central Los Angeles and then using the money to finance the CONTRA war.
