Emotional intelligence and reflective practice are integral components of building a therapeutic relationship in nursing Self-awareness in nursing refers to how Brilliant nurses understand themselves, their strengths, weaknesses, attitude and ethics to better handle transactions with their patients. Self-awareness includes self-review, along with self-confidence. Self-regulation expresses beyond one's emotions and being trustworthy. In order for nurses to be able to empathize with their patients and treat them with compassion, they must be self-aware. When nurses are self-aware, they are able to adapt, or certainly change, their attitudes and actions to understand how unusual people care for them, thus improving the nurse-patient relationship. Nurses need to think carefully about whether they can support dependency in caring for a client and whether the relationship interferes with meeting the client's needs. It is also essential to ensure that care for family and friends does not interfere with the care of other clients or the dynamics of the healthcare team. Before drawing a conclusion, the nurse may want to discuss the situation with colleagues and the employer. The therapeutic relationship is well defined as the process of interrelationship, that focus on improving a patient's physical and emotional comfort. Nurses use therapeutic practices to provide support and evidence to patients. It may be mandatory to use a variation of techniques to achieve nursing goals when collaborating with a patient. By discovering the client's reluctance to study, as well as the opinions and beliefs of the client and the client's family, the nurse works with the client to discover an explanation.
