The French Revolution was a very dangerous time due to the chaos and conflict that took place in the streets of France, resulting in the massacre of thousands of innocent people. Within the revolution there were many characters who took part in resolving the conflicts that had arisen. One thing that sparked the revolution was food shortages caused by a drought which led to rising bread prices as most were too poor to afford food at the new price. People began to rebel against their government in hopes of being heard and treated fairly while many were still starving. Within the revolution, there were figures such as George Danton, Jean Bailly, and Reine Audu who contributed to the development and wrote pamphlets insisting that the poor deserved to have a voice in government” ( DiConsiglio. 78 ). It is easy to see how strongly Robespierre felt inequality at that time to the point that he created pamphlets to spread his beliefs and achieve his goals and ambitions. He did this to mobilize the French people and educate them about the injustice that was happening. To many people, Maximilien Robespierre was a hero because he successfully gave faith and hope to his people that change and equality could happen. Maximilien Robespierre became obsessed with this passion to create equality in France and abolish segregation that he began to be adored by others and seen as a beacon of hope “Robespierre earned a reputation as a completely devoted revolutionary” (DiConsiglio. 45An individual who sought for equal treatment for all was Maximilien Robespierre. Through good leadership, dedication and hopes for peace, he put his life at risk to create and set in motion a system that allowed the poor to be heard, which he did. had a drastic impact. France, the world and our lives as we know them. Through good leadership, Robespierre was able to control the crowds of angry men and women who were affected by the bread shortages and segregation that resulted. from being a member of the third estate Through dedication Robespierre was able to reach out and inspire others who shared his same vision such as George Danton, Reine Audu and many others, who individually and unitedly created the foundation for the revolution. Through his sense of peace and tranquility, Robespierre did his best to try to control the damage that occurred during the revolution in order to avoid unnecessary deaths and destruction. Many people today still do not know the importance of Robespierre and his contributions, however, if people were informed about his life and achievements, France would be known to have another.
