wanted civil rights to happen and be implemented. King did not want his people to fight against the whites but only to gain the same freedom. King wanted everyone to stand up for what they believed in, not give up. They asked Martin Luther King Jr. “when will you be satisfied?” According to King, “We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro remains the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality.” (King) What King was trying to say here is that civil rights are not being considered. Black people receive horrible treatment just because of the color of their skin. There is discrimination even for innocent children. Children are not allowed to drink at white water fountains or in some restaurants. Even the police are corrupt and make blacks inhumane
