IntroMany people nowadays are trying to understand the concept and practice of leadership. The concept of leadership equates to ensuring influence in the school and managing change and organizational structure. There has been a tremendous amount of literature on school leadership lately. However, many people still misunderstand the concept of leadership. To learn the concept of leadership, people need to do more than just read a few publications or fantasize about how great leaders should be. School leaders are those people, occupying various roles in schools, who provide direction and exert influence to achieve schools' goals (Leithwood & Riehl 2003). In this essay, school leadership will be explored through many academic journals and publications in order to clarify the word school leadership as much as possible. Furthermore, since Spillane (2005) states that leaders typically interact with others, the discussion in this essay focuses on human resource management, building professional work teams, and future professional development strategies in the area of leadership scholastic and on the relationship between these aspects. they are considered essential for high-quality education (Leithwood & Riehl 2003).
