Animal testing is one of the most horrible things you can do to an animal. When an animal is tested you could make it paralyzed for the rest of its life, whether it makes it blind or even paralyzed, it could even cause extreme pain or death. Some of the animals they are tested on are abused and not given the proper treatment for social activities and some of the people who test them are not even fed and if some animals do not behave well, people inject poison into one of the animals they are on testing and they will kill them and they don't really pay attention because they can always go and get more. Think about this, the medicine you use every day killed a sweet, loving dog that you could have adopted, so when you buy a prescription medicine you have basically bought something that could have killed 10 maybe 15 dogs in tests to make that medicine. Many pharmaceutical companies report that 92 out of 100 drugs that pass animal testing fail on people, so we are killing animals just so we can get medicines and drugs that don't even work for us, so why even test animals if we are going to fail when the drug and the medicine pass the animal test and it is quite obvious that animals have qualities like us but they are not exactly like us, like pigs which have the same type of skin material as us but it is not exactly the same as our skin, so only because they make a skin lotion that works on pigs doesn't mean it will work exactly the same way it worked on the pig, it might even kill you or give you a skin disease, so basically there's no reason to use animals for testing because it might not even work for us, even if it worked for... middle of paper...... why do it on some poor animal that didn't do anything? They should instead use prisoners who have been convicted of murder or rape. So instead of seeing if perfume irritates a bunny's eyes, they should throw it into Charles Manson's eyes and ask him if it hurts."
