This topic came to mind recently because my grandmother was diagnosed with this disease. He could barely walk and couldn't do many little things like get out of bed and tie his shoes. Since my mother is a physical therapist, she knew what to do, but I didn't really know what it was or how to help her. Most of what I knew about “arthritis” was that it affects the bones, but this was much more than that. I also didn't realize that it was rheumatoid arthritis and not just normal arthritis, they are different because rheumatoid arthritis has to do with the joints unlike normal arthritis which has to do with the wear and tear of the bones. I wish I had known if I could prevent it or even if it's genetic and if I could develop it too. I also wanted to know what the symptoms were because all I knew was that he was in pain. I was afraid that she wouldn't live that long because she got sick, that's why I decided to write this article. “Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease in which your body's immune system—which protects your health by attacking foreign substances such as bacteria and viruses—mistakenly attacks your joints. The abnormal immune response causes inflammation that can damage joints and organs, such as the heart. Early diagnosis and timely treatment are the key to preventing joint destruction and organ damage.” (Rheumatoid arthritis). people think the law is too complex and difficult to understand. So, I started asking questions like: is it hereditary, are the drugs she will take harmful and can it be prevented? My big question is: will this disease prevent my grandmother to carry out his normal activities and will still be able to have a… paper medium… to learn. I was also able to use the first person, so it was more personal. so I was looking at websites and actually taking the time to look through them and see if I could benefit from any information. Overall, I learned a lot by doing this project not only about the topic but also about how to write an article.
