Topic > Censorship in music is a violation of the Constitution...

Overall, progress is the main basis of society. Human beings are capable of creating unimaginable things; one of these things is music. A collection of sounds organized with an underlying “feeling” alone is capable of capturing and enlightening any audience of any age. Music is one of the most beautiful things on the planet, but isn't it right that the full expression of the songs is not filtered? Since 1927 the government has controlled what goes on the air and what doesn't go on the air, and in 1934 the Federal Communications Center (FCC) was created to monitor and filter all music released to the public. This censorship violates constitutional rights under the First Amendment, this specific controversial topic has not yet taken full effect. However, in Syria many musicians are caught, fined and even jailed simply for attempting to express themselves. Furthermore, the progression of modern families; the shift from conservative to more liberal views, with the addition of communications and technological advances, causes normal vocabulary and broadens the ideas and morality of not only oneself but also the individuals around them. Since the individual rights of Americans were born in disagreement with rules that seemed inadequate, it is logical to keep the Constitution and the intentions of the founding fathers alive. The First Amendment states: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or restrict freedom of speech or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. only the creation of the FCC violated these rights. Beyond simply providing entertainment to the populace... middle of paper... convenience, it progresses further towards acceptance and approaches a state of complete bliss.
