Kinky Boots is a film based on a true story and was directed by Julian Jarrold in 2005. The film tells the story of Charlie Price who supposedly inherits his father's traditional Northampton shoe factory. As he prepares to start running the business, due to his father's untimely death, he discovers that the family business is in big trouble and falling apart. The shoe factory was known as the Price & Sons factory and had existed for four generations (Thesource 2014). . The employees had an advantage over their competitors due to their extensive experience and knowledge in making excellent, high-quality shoes, but their market shares were negatively affected by the high price they charged for their shoes. Due to the economic crisis that England was facing at the time, the shoes, although durable, were not affordable. The factory was under great threat from Eastern European shoe factories that produced less durable, cheaper and low quality shoes (Schmitt, A. 2010). Eastern European factories got a boost in their market as people needed cheaper shoes. One night, while Charlie was in London, he met a drag queen named Lola who, due to her weight, had to put up with wearing broken high-heeled shoes. Once they met, Lola proposed the creation of high-heeled shoes for the niche market of transvestites (Boots, Jarrold, Deane, Firth, Ejiofor, Edgerton & Potts 2014). .A definition of leadership from the Management Study Guide (MSG) states that leadership is a process by which an executive can direct, guide, and influence the behavior and work of others toward achieving specific goals in a given situation. (Brown,A. 2014)The film revealed many business phases in its progress. Charlie as the main character is… at the center of the paper… policies are made as a fragment of the association strategy, with the request to evaluate innovation concerns by pairing them with companies (Thesource 2014; Mindtools.com 2014). Issues related to modernization from the perspective of organizational perceptions have been illuminated recently. For example, one of the best ways to create reasonable advantages is to create a company based on constant learning and improvement. Many aspects of a company, which also incorporates industrialized events, are also manipulated by structural learning (Mindtools.com 2014). The Kinky Boots company has paid its responsiveness towards promotional events by significantly understanding the customer's desires and relying on their preferred outcomes of their production plan and comparatively also focused on improvement activities through innovation (Mindtools .com 2014).
