History of DesignLike Modern Art in Relation to Graphic DesignI/ Introduction:Art has developed over a thousand years. There are many differences and similarities between Art and Design. In the following paragraphs I will explain the relationship between modern art and graphic design with some moments and artistic examples. a) What is modern art? Modern art refers to the arts created in the period between the 1860s and 1870s. Modern art was created without a purpose; every single art was created with its own style and traditional at a specific time (Esaak, 2014). In this essay, three artistic moments will be used to demonstrate the relationship between art and pop art, which will use realism art, expressionism art, pop art, and postminimalism. From these artistic moments, it would be shown how the relationship between modern art and graphic design.b) What is graphic design? Graphic design is the art combined with the way of communicating and solving problems through image or art (Miller, 2014) . Graphic designers use the combination of techniques such as typography, visual art and layout to produce the final work. Graphic design is commonly used in logos and branding, print advertisements, posters, packages, and so on. For Graphic Design, create with the purpose of attracting the audience. In the following paragraphs it will be shown how graphic design is influenced and influenced by modern art.II/ How modern art has influenced graphic design:1/ Realism Art:1-a) What is Realism Art? Realism Art is an artistic movement that rebelled against the exaggerated emotional theme of Romanticism in the years 1840 to 1880. Furthermore, it is also known as the art or image that... in the center of the paper... created on the basis of personal interest. It only showed 3 simple cameras, but there was a great meaning behind it.III/ Conclusion: Finally, between modern art and graphic design, they have a great relationship because most of the moving art is influencing a part of the graphic design on the painting and image by combining different styles and feelings from art movement works to graphic design work.IV/ Reference: Esaak, S.
