“Because Disney makes us young and helps shape our understanding of who we are, making us whistle while we work, don't be afraid of the big bad wolf, wish on a star that one day our prince will come, indeed to accept Disney products like the teaspoon of sugar that helps to swallow any medicine, after all in this little world” (Clark). A man with a great imagination made his dreams come true in many different ways. He has always had a soft spot for animation since the age of ten. He never gave up on what he dreamed of until it became reality. it began with its cartoons and films, to its amusement parks, while still providing a positive environment for young and old. Walt Disney was born on December 15, 1901 in Chicago and was the fourth child of his parents Elias and Flora Disney. He grew up in the two towns of Marceline and Kansas City, Missouri (Tibbetts). Walt's first animations were most likely a "flipbook" for his sister when he was nine years old. Walt always had an interest in art, including copying a well-known comic book and creating his own ("Disney, Walt"). He attended McKinley High School in Chicago (Weisblat). Disney's talent during his school career was noticed by many and was published in school newspapers (“Disney, Walt”). Kansas City, Missouri was where Disney first began his “moral experience and vision” (Tibbetts). Disney's first job was working in a commercial art studio (“Disney, Walt”). He was known as an excellent independent "public figure" and "study" protagonist (Weisblat). He was a loving family man who still had many moments of depression. He also had a couple of nervous breakdowns during his life (Slayman). Disney changed and imagined his terrible experience with his abusive father... middle of paper... Even though Walt died, people still thought of him as the man who invented “Mickey Mouse Forty Years Before” (Disney, Walt”). While providing a positive environment to the young and old around the world, Walt Disney found success through his shows. and movies at its amusement parks around the world, to make Americans enjoy life as it should be. Walt Disney's impact has affected many people. He inspired children of all ages to never give up on their dreams. Walt Disney still has an impact on society today because he has many films and cartoons that convey a good message. It has also created many amazing amusement parks for people of all ages to enjoy to this day. Its amusement parks, films and cartoons are still watched and enjoyed.
