Change Management According to many, change management becomes fundamental for the following reason: external pressures; which may include competition, new technologies, costs and regulatory changes. Furthermore, economic and social conditions can intensify necessary long-term changes. This paper will discuss different aspects of change management models, theories and their application. Additionally, it will provide an overview of the drivers of change, the factors needed to implement change successfully, management strategies and expectations, and the leadership styles needed for influence and effectiveness. Kurt Lewin's three-phase change model is described as unfreeze, shift, or change and refreeze. In simplified terms of most applications, this means allowing the current processes and procedures fewer constraints, then making adjustments toward the new vision or processes and procedures, finally putting new constraints in place for the new processes and procedures (McShane, 2003 .) The Burke-Litwin model of organizational performance and change is based on the idea that theorizes the need to explore organizational functioning and organizational change. This theory is brought to light by describing how performance is affected and how effective change occurs. Furthermore, value is given both in terms of content that coincides with the processes emphasizing the transformational and transactional changes to be made. A further subdivision includes how transformational change occurs as a response to the external environment and its effects on the organization's mission and strategy, the organization's leadership, and its culture.
