Friends only want the best for you, just like parents. They are there for you through thick and thin. They can cover for you when you do something bad, they tell you how beautiful you are when you don't feel "hot". The famous phrase known to all, "It looks ok." When what they're really saying in their mind is "Didn't you wear that not too long ago?" If it makes you feel better and you feel comfortable wearing it, they will tell you it looks good. Of course, everyone will probably notice, depending on whether they are very detailed and well-known. Later, when the other person who lied about the attention is brought to your friend, you wonder if you did it intentionally, when all you wanted to do was make them feel better about their outfit. Just because you had good intentions doesn't exactly mean they'll forgive you for telling them something that was never the truth. The result of the situation is that you are now identified as a liar, or in this case a villain
