A child with little hope finally gets a better future by getting an extraordinary opportunity, simply by being adopted by a caring and loving family, even across the border. Foreign adoption is one of the possible ways to open this door to a wonderful life full of opportunities. These unfortunate children may go from an unstable environment to a stable one. Alas, there is more to such a miracle than meets the eye, with all the complications and challenges that come with it. Although despite all the problems most people say it's worth it. What is foreign adoption? Foreign adoption is adoption from abroad and is also known as international or intercountry (USA) adoption. This is often an option if the child cannot be cared for in a safe environment in their country of origin and it is in their best interest (Crown). Although this is not always the case, some children are unlucky and fall into “child laundering”. Child laundering is the abduction of children, who are then sold to private individuals or orphanages (Sexton). This is where foreign adoption becomes a controversial topic. There are requirements that must be met for an adoption to take place. Each country has its own rules and regulations regarding adoption and it can pose some difficulties. Some countries view adoption more as a type of guardianship under US law, but this is not recognized as adoption in the United States (Bureau). International adoption means the adoption of a child from another country other than one's own by permanent legal means or the introduction of a child into the country of the adopter, in which he resides, to live with him permanently (Office). Legal means is a gradual process consisting of the legal transfer of parentage...... middle document ...... final adoption>. (April 2, 2014).Corona. “Child adoption”. GOV.UK. March 19, 2014. .
