Change Management Plan Regardless of the type of industry in question, change management is an essential component in today's ever-changing business environment. To better understand this concept, it is necessary to recognize that change management is not just a task to be verified and considered finished, but is instead an ongoing process that should be undertaken with a sense of urgency, implemented rapidly and continuously monitored to ensure a transformation of success. To illustrate knowledge of the change management process throughout the simulation, the student is tasked with providing the information necessary to build a culture in which to support change. Using the key concepts identified during the course is essential to completing the assigned task. Basic information CrysTel is a telecommunications company operating in Illinois, United States. The company employs 2,500 people and generates annual revenue of $200 million. CrysTel's product offerings include data cables, wireless solutions and network development. Rapid advances in the telecommunications industry will require CrysTel to regularly cope with technological and administrative changes, thus placing it in a position to enhance the range of emerging telecommunications technologies in an "attempt to increase product offerings" and keep pace with the "volatile market demands" (simulation). Identify the major implications of the change in CrysTel, including any implications for human behavior. CrysTel is a responsive organization that keeps pace with unpredictable market trends: as such, CrysTel is likely to change its product portfolio or offer new products on a regular basis. These events will occur, mid-card, in today's market, but to remain competitive they must find a way to distinguish themselves from these competitors. Conclusion The changes implemented by CrysTel are indicative of a company that truly desires to maintain profitability and sustainability in today's telecommunications market. By continuously monitoring the process and re-adjusting it when necessary, CrysTel will be able to modify its internal environment.
