My Career Plan The future is uncertain for me, but it is important to develop a career plan that provides financial support and personal fulfillment throughout my professional life. To make this transition from school to professional career, I will map out a plan that will help me stay focused and motivated in achieving my goals and objectives. In the next paragraphs I will explain my 10-year plan for my professional career and incorporate some ideas from Mr. Bolle on how to move this process forward. At the end of my career, I want to be recognized as a positive team leader who can bring the best out of his subordinates and help increase the company's profits. I believe it can be achieved through impacting the lives of people around me at school and outside. California State University Monterey Bay prepared me for these goals by implementing teamwork, passion for career, and love of diversity. I realize that to accomplish everything I want, I need to be motivated and maintain a positive attitude as I continue to learn new skills. “If something excites you, you'll be good at it; If you don't, you won't,” said David Maister, because you have to love what you do to enjoy life and produce great results in job selection.[1] Especially now with the economic turmoil, if you have a great job, you're lucky and hang on to it.
