In Snow White, she does not serve as a servant to her stepmother, but must escape from her envious stepmother to survive. She then lives in the forest with seven dwarves who take care of her after she is abandoned in the forest. However, Snow White is still seduced by her stepmother three times. This shows that Snow White is vulnerable because she easily trusts a stranger. Also, the way Snow White is saved by the prince is different from Cinderella because she is saved after being buried in a glass coffin. Her envious stepmother is punished by fire when she attends the wedding of Snow White and the Prince. Cinderella, on the other hand, lives with her stepmother and two stepsisters who mistreat her. She cannot escape their curse and is treated like a servant. She meets the prince before going to the ball when he tries to steal her father's horse. She is not allowed to go to the dance, but her childhood friend helps her. She is saved by the prince when she puts on the slipper, and her evil stepmother and older stepsister are punished by the king to work as washerwomen for the rest of their lives.
