The first is common ignorance. This is simply the ignorance that humans are born into or inherit from their parents. An example is ignorance about where to place bread to turn it into toast. The individual may sit staring at the bread until told to place it in the toaster to toast it. This common or blameworthy ignorance can be overcome by instruction or reasoning. Asking questions to get to the answer is another way to overcome this type of ignorance. The second type of ignorance, the hurus, is what the individuals pursuing Socrates retain. Hubrus is ignorance that overcomes pride and is very similar to arrogance. Individuals who pursue Socrates are full of arrogant thoughts. Prosecutors refuse to question themselves or others to get to the truth. They are closed-minded and only care about their own well-being. Furthermore, they believe that they are above the community since they know everything there is to know. This type of thinking is harmful to the mind and brain
