Freedom of speech is a right granted to every individual, otherwise it will be illegal. Vinson blames people of different ethnicities for taking away free speech. It's okay for anyone to express their opinion appropriately. A protest called “Black Lives Matter” attracts public attention. The goal of the protest is to raise awareness that racism is hurting many people due to the incidents that occurred. “Black Lives Matter” brought together many participants in an effort to fight for justice. Even “leaders of the Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, African Indigenous, and Unitarian Universalist faiths gathered to bear witness to our unwavering support for the Black Lives Matter movement” (Kolodny). The movement has brought together a diverse group of people who represent the spirit of unity
