In the article on lifelong learning for professional engineers it states that the challenge for engineers is that “lifelong learning is as essential for professional engineers as their initial training and certification. Continuing professional development is an urgent imperative to ensure public safety, a sustainable environment, a competitive national economy, a respected profession, a profitable employer, and a fulfilling career” (p. 1). One of the most important factors of continuing engineering education is that a person who has recently graduated needs to gain some experience, so first he needs to start training in his field of study and gain real-world experience because this training or experience will play a huge role in the future.
